The Coaching Process Explained


When you first contact me, I offer a 30-minute Strategy Call at no cost. I will begin by asking you questions about your health challenges- what you are facing and your ultimate goals. While listening to you, I will help clarify your vision of what health means to you, and how coaching can support your vision. By the end of the call, you should have a solid understanding of how we can work together to meet your health goals. I'll answer all of your questions, and if you decide that coaching is for you, then we will set up your first session. A complimentary CORE Share Session.

Your First 1-Hour Share Session - Complimentary

Share Session Prep

In preparation for the Share Session you will receive a  Welcome Package with a Coaching Agreement and two forms- an Intake form and a Self-Reflection form. No worries, these are generally easy and fun forms to complete. They will help you to start thinking about your wellness challenges and what to focus on in your sessions. Your forms will also assist me in getting to know you better before we start our first session.

The Share Session Call (1 hour)

I call this a CORE Share Session because this is where we start to share information and get to know each other. This is the beginning of establishing a trusting and caring coaching partnership. I will begin by asking you questions that will prompt you to think about yourselfwhere you are now and where you want to bein terms of your health and wellness. We'll discuss your strengths, roadblocks and why you may be stuck. Then, we will identify your overall goals that you will work towards in our future sessions together.

During the Share Session we will also go over the coaching contract, fees, mode of payment and set a schedule for our next sessions. You will know exactly what to expect.

A Typical Coaching Session

In a typical coaching session, we start by setting your agenda. You will decide what you want to work on and where you would like to be by the end of the session. You are in charge of where you want to go and it’s my job to guide you in that direction.


Next, we do a check-in to see how you’re doing with your goals from your last session. We'll talk about what is and isn’t working for you and what you could do differently to move forward. Then we will dive into the coaching work. I'll ask you powerful questions to prompt you to think about your values and needs in relationship to your health goals. I will listen deeply and compassionately and give you the space to think and learn about yourself.

This is when the magic of coaching begins—you'll be surprised and excited at the wisdom that arises in your mind when you’re given the space to think, feel, and make decisions from your heart.

When we are present with our thoughts and feelings, coaching becomes a fun and motivating experience. This is very special, because as a woman, you rarely take time to notice and learn about what really matters in your life.

At the end of each session we'll set measurable goals that you'll work on until your next session.

Between Sessions

This is where the real work happens and you start to feel the benefits of your efforts. In between sessions, you'll have access to me via email and texts. I'll also send you information such as nutrition suggestions, exercise tips, and more.
